The "bad" truckers will hurt their businesses

Feb. 17, 2015
Accumulating many traffic violations until now only harmed drivers of trucks, vans and industrial vehicles. But Traffic will soon set up a system that will also allow the company that has contracted the offender to be "punished", damaging its public image and subjecting it to inspections.
The "bad" truckers will hurt their businesses

The General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) is finalizing the details of a new control system that will sanction companies that have drivers with a significant history of infractions on their staff. The system will identify professional drivers of road transport vehicles who repeatedly and repeatedly break the Traffic Law and will make this data and information available to the General Directorate of Land Transport (DGTT). With the census of offenders in hand, the DGTT will be able to open an inspection of the companies in which the repeated offenders work and open a file that would mean a loss of honor for the affected companies that would damage their image in the sector and could harm when it comes to getting the award of services.

The great recommendation  to all trucks is that they scrupulously comply with the Traffic Law and the Highway Code, have vehicles ready (keeping the maintenance, replacing the spare parts and spare parts that are needed) and paying close attention to excess loads and poor fastening of the merchandise.
