A total of 350,233 trucks were registered in Europe during the two-month period of January and February this year, compared to 332,045 vehicles sold in the same two-month period in 2016. By specialization and segmentation, the sale of commercial vehicles and road transport of up to 3.5 new tons has grown by 6.1%. For their part, trucks weighing more than 3,500 kilos have experienced a somewhat more moderate rise in registrations, specifically 3.6%.
In Spain, the results are being especially good. According to ACEA, in the last month the markets in which the deliveries of trucks and vans have grown the most have been (in this order), Spain and Italy, with a rise of 12.8% and 11.4%, respectively. If the increase in sales and commercialization of industrial vehicles since the beginning of the year is analyzed, Spain accumulates an increase of 18%, well above the 11.3% of Italy, the 6.6% of France, the 1.1% of Germany (1.1%) and 0.8% from the United Kingdom.
The National Federation of Spanish Transport Associations (Fenadismer) also expects 2017 to be a good year for the automotive industry and the world of spare parts and truck parts, since it calculates that the registrations of industrial and commercial vehicles can skyrocket up to 8%, according to the results of the first two months of the year.
The bonanza in the results coincides in recambiosdelcamion.com with two extraordinary offers, which will also be valid in April: the 24V electric coil spirals (type S and type N), with a discount of 27%, and the multipurpose oil GPM 6 in 1, with a direct discount of 10% for online purchases from the web portal.
