The Urban eTruck has beaten the first electric Tesla when it comes to field tests. The German electric truck is capable of transporting up to 26 tons of cargo. One of the peculiarities of the vehicle is that it will be delivered to its buyers along with a tablet that will be connected to the truck's control systems. In this way, the driver will be able to know at all times the level of charge in the battery, the weight, the conditions of the terrain and, most importantly, will be able to determine if the charge is sufficient to reach the destination by simply entering the data of the route. In addition, the operator will be able to recalculate the route and adjust it to the load to prevent the truck from standing still during the journey.
