LED lighting comes to fire trucks

The first fire-fighting service trucks at airports -popularly called Panthers- that have incorporated LED lighting have been prepared by the firm Rosenbauer. The brand has equipped several Panthers with LED work lights from the prestigious Hella brand, which have recently been presented at the Interschutz international fire protection material fair, held in the German city of Hannover.  

The Panther, already famous for being one of the most innovative models in its category (it is equipped with improved driving systems and optimization of fire performance) increases its performance and precision in fight against fire thanks to the incorporation of Hella's Ultra Beam LED work lights, the most advanced of the brand. The two additional headlights have been installed on the roof turret: one that illuminates the area around the vehicle (able to rotate 250º) and a second Ultra Beam headlight that illuminates the flow of water. Other Panther models have been configured with an extendable light mast with eight HELLA Ultra Beam LED headlights, of the Flexilight model.
