An app that monitors the truck and the truck driver is released

Two companies from Murcia (Droptec Technology and BlueReady.net) have developed an innovative mobile application that allows all the parameters and factors involved in the truck to be monitored (also including the driver) and which, among other functions, will ensure safety of truck drivers and will detect the theft of fuel and goods, prevent breakdowns and even warn of a heart problem in the driver. The application will analyze the truck, the route and its components through a kit of wireless sensors that will be distributed throughout the cabin, the box and the trailer of the vehicle. The system will notify the driver's mobile, through sound alarms, and also the logistics company if programmed, of any anomaly detected in the vehicle during their professional activity: temperature, humidity, tire pressure, cargo volume , presence of pathogenic elements in food merchandise in cold storage, traceability and risks in the cold chain, among other factors. One of the most interesting features of the new app is that it will also monitor the driver's health status and heart rate. If the driver suffered a heart attack, for example, the system would automatically notify 112 in any country through which he was driving. The forecast of its creators is that the application will be available next spring.
