Snowmobile, that's the name of the world's first data truck, the first "cloud" that moves on wheels devised by Amazon Web Services (AWS). The truck, recently presented in society, is designed to park in front of a fixed data center, connect with it and "load" with digital information transferred at high speed. The Snowmobile has an impressive storage capacity: 100 Petabites that need a week of transmission at a speed of 1Tbps to be able to be completely filled.
When the information transfer is finished, the truck moves to an Amazon-owned data "warehouse" and dumps all of its computer content onto a permanent storage server at low speed (technically known as Glacier or S3 or Glacier storage). This AWS service will allow startups, large companies and even individuals who need to upload many megabytes of information to the cloud, to load it "virtually" on a truck that will take them to their final destination.
Technology advances so quickly that the transport of data by truck surely does not require the use of traditional cargo fastening elements as occurs with conventional goods. However, this is not a reason for recambiosdelcamion.com not to stop offering security elements such as reinforced winches and automatic tensioning winches (which have discounts of up to 25%) and lashings for exterior and interior mooring (reduced up to 33% on its catalog price). Take advantage of the promotion!
