Once again, Volvo's FH range remains one of the best-selling models. In 2024, the Swedish brand led sales with a total of 4,219 units, and it is expected to remain a preferred choice in 2025. Its reliability, fuel efficiency, and advanced safety systems are some of the reasons why it remains the number one choice for many transporters.
The Iveco S-Way, with 3,419 units in 2024, is another model that continues to thrive and is positioned among the best-selling trucks in the country. Its reliability, combination of power, and efficiency on long and short routes make it a favorite for both large companies and self-employed individuals.
The DAF FT, with 2,631 units sold, continues to establish itself as a trusted choice for the heavy-duty transport sector. Meanwhile, Renault Trucks, with its T Series (2,529 units), remains a very popular choice due to its design and handling characteristics. Scania, with its R Series (2,079 units), also remains competitive, standing out for its high performance and advanced technology.
With the market increasingly inclined toward sustainability, more manufacturers are expected to opt for electric or fuel-efficient trucks, but traditional models continue to lead sales. However, it's important to note that models such as the Iveco Eurocargo ML and the Iveco Daily continue to gain ground, with 1,286 and 1,212 units sold respectively.
The Spanish truck market continues to be highly competitive, with brands such as Volvo, Iveco, Mercedes-Benz, and DAF leading the rankings. However, the key for 2025 will be how these brands adapt to the demands of sustainability, energy efficiency, and advanced technology. Companies in the transport sector, both large and small, will continue to seek vehicles that offer reliability, competitive operating costs, and, above all, technological innovation that allows them to keep up with new market demands.
